It’s an interesting morning here.
There was some kind of power failure — around 5 this morning, I’m told — and we are still dealing with the after-effects in the newsroom.
Everything was down when I got in. Everything. Phones, computers, you name it.
I had to use my cell to call M’Lady in Toronto to get her to tell me what the website looks like. Luckily for us, the overnight crew finished updating lfpress.com before the power went out.
I now have spotty web access, although the phones are still dead.
If you’ve been trying to reach me by e-mail and I haven’t responded, I just haven’t got the message.
The outage gave me a chance to go for a walk. I stopped by John C’s workplace to meet him, then grabbed a drink at Starbucks.
